Review Revelation Chapter 6

In this chapter of Revelation we see revealed the sequence of events in the world as the seven seals are broken and the day of wrath of the Lamb comes.

No one can stand against the day of wrath as God judges the world through his son Jesus Christ.

God judges sin . . . in what part of your life are you trying to stand against God and resist the changes that he wants to make in you?



Read Revelation 7:1-8

What were the roles of the five angels listed in these verse?  (Rev 7:1-2)


What was the command of the angel of the east?  (Rev 7:3)


List the tribes of Israel who were sealed and the numbers in each tribe listed.  (Rev 7:5-8)



Skim Numbers 26

List the tribes of the Israelites who came out of Egypt and the numbers in each tribe.


Compare these tribes and numbers to those listed in Rev 7:5-8.


What tribes are listed in Numbers 26 that are not listed in Rev 7:5-8?



Skim Deuteronomy 29 and 30

Who did God renew his covenant with in these verses?  (Deut 29:14-15)


What was the covenant?  (Deut 29:18)


What was the consequence of breaking the covenant?  (Deut 29:19-28)


What did the Lord promise Israel when they obeyed?  (Deut 30:1-4, 19-20)

Review Revelation Chapter 5

In Chapter 5 of Revelation God shows John a scroll that only Jesus can read.  All of creation praises them as worthy of Honor, Glory and Power forever.

Do you know and believe that Jesus the Lamb of God, purchased men for God through his death on the cross?


Do you know and believe He is worthy of Honor, Glory, Praise and Power forever?


How can you be assured that you have been purchased for God?


How are you showing Jesus that He is worthy of Honor, Glory, Praise and Power this week in your church, work, school or home?




Read Revelation Chapter 6

As the first four seals are broken, list the seal number, color of the horse, attribute of the rider and judgement they will bring on the world.  (Rev 6:1-8)


Who did the fifth seal reveal?  What was their question and the response given to them by God?  (Rev 6:9-11)


What did the sixth seal bring and what was man's response to this judgement in the world?  (Rev 6:12-16)


What did man eventually understand as revealed in this verse?  (Rev 6:17)

Review Revelation Chapter 4

In chapter 4 of Revelation John describes the Throne of God in Heaven in all its glory.

Do you know and believe that God is worthy of worship and that his glory will be revealed to all believers fully in Heaven?


How is God revealing his glory to you this week in your family, church, school or work?

Why does John weep? (Rev 5:1-5)


Describe who took the scroll and the response of the four living creatures and elders when he did so? (Rev 5:6-8)


In their song, how did they describe Jesus and Mankind? (Rev 5:9-10)


In Rev 5:11-13, who was singing and what were they singing?


What was the final response of the four living creatures and the elders to Jesus in Revelation 5?

Review Revelation Chapter 3

In Chapter 3 of Revelation, Christ counsels the Churches of Sardis, Philadelphia and Laodicea about their sin and future glory if they repent and do God's will.

Jesus holds the key to salvation... if we repent, God offers us eternal rewards.

What sin is causing you to be lukewarm for Christ and what is holding you back from repenting of it?

In Rev 4:1-3, describe the door to heaven and what John saw and felt.


In Rev 4:4-7, who was also present before the throne in heaven?  Give a description of each.


In Rev 4:7-11, what did the living creatures do and what was the response of the elders?


In Rev 4:8-11, describe the Lord as it is laid out in these verses.

Review Revelation Chapter 2

From our study of Revelation 2 we learn that Jesus gives Support and Admonishment to the Churches of Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum and Thyatira.  It tells of the glory they will receive if they overcome personal sin.

Jesus desires his believers to persevere and overcome sin in this world.  What are you doing in your work, school, home or church that pleases God and what are you doing that grieves the Holy Spirit?

What example in its members did Christ want them to follow?


How did Jesus describe himself to the Church in Philidelphia?


What did they do well and what were their rewards if they persevered in their faith?


How did Jesus describe himself to the Church in Laodicea?


Why did He rebuke them and what did He say He was doing with them?


What did He ultimately want this church to do and what was the reward?

From the first chapter of Revelation we see that Jesus holds the Keys to Heaven and Hell.  He frees us from our sins and is coming to judge the world.


How can you be sure of your salvation?
