In this passage the fifth and sixth angels sound their trumpets, opening the abyss. . . bringing torture, agony and then death. In the end, those left behind continue to be unrepentant of their sin.
We see that God desires a repentant heart and it is only his seal on us that protects us from the ultimate consequence of our sin, torture agony and death.
Are you Sealed by God? Are you assured of your salvation through faith in Jesus Christ?
