A Study of Revelation Day 12

Review Revelation 10:1-11

In this passage we see a mighty angel from heaven holding open a scroll, proclaiming that there would be no more delight and that the mystery of God would be accomplished.  John takes this scroll and eats it and is told to prophesy to all nations.

We learn that God wants us to read his word, understand his instructions, believe with our hearts and tell others of his Glory.

Do you find Joy in Gods' words?

Are his instructions sweet as honey for you or do they sour your stomach?  God's will for us is often difficult for us to understand... how can you more fully focus this week on having joy in what he has given you to do for Him no matter how difficult the task may seem?

READ AND STUDY REVELATION 11:1-14

From verse 1 and 2 as well as Luke 21:23-24 describe these times as well as the actions of the gentiles during this time period.

From verses 3 through 6 as well as Jer 5:18-19 describe the judgement brought by the two witnesses and some of the specific sins that were being judged.

Read verses 7 through 10 and Dan 7:13-14, 21-22.  What eventually happened to the prophets and what was God's plan as revealed in Daniel?

Study verses 11 through 14, Acts 1:6-11, Isa 8:19-22 and Isa 9:6-7.  Describe God's judgement on the unrepentant and the ascension of the two witnesses.  Compare this with God's plan for Jesus.
