A Study of Revelation Day 22

Review Revelation 19

In this chapter of Revelation we see how Heaven rejoices because of God's power and judgement of Babylon while Jesus comes on his white horse to strike down the nations. As the Beast gathers his army for war, he is cast into the Lake of Fire with his false prophet.

Jesus is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. As the Wedding Lamb he blesses the righteous, those he invites to his supper and judges all the rest in a spirit of justice and truth.

Is Jesus the only King of Kings and Lord of Lords in your life? Where in your life are you being tempted by false prophets? In what aspects of your life is Jesus not King, Lord and Wedding Lamb?

Are you waiting for yet another invitation by Jesus to attend His wedding supper?

READ REVELATION 20

Read verses 1-6 and Luke 14:1-14. Describe what will happen to Satan in this time period. Find a reference in the new testament describing one of Christ’s followers who became a Martyr for Christ and who will one day reign with Him for a thousand years. Using the additional reading, describe some attributes of the rest of the dead who will one day be resurrected.

Read verses 7-10, Gen 3:1, Matt 4:1, Luke 4:2, Eph 2:2 and Jn 12:31. Describe Satan and his work in this world. What will be the eventual judgment on him as outlined in these verses in Revelation and in Mt 25:41, Mk 9:48 and Rev 21:8?

Read verses 11-15, Matt 16:27, 1 Cor 15:26, Isa 65:17 and 2 Pet 3:13. Describe who will judge all of mankind as revealed in this passage of Revelation and why there is a need to separate the righteous from the unrighteous during this time of judgment. Does this passage or any other in scripture talk about a way to appeal God’s judgment once it has occurred?
